About Us


Young Workers United, formed in 2002, is a multi-racial and bilingual membership organization dedicated to improving the quality of jobs for young and immigrant workers. We raise standards in the low-wage service sector in San Francisco through worker and student organizing, grass-roots advocacy, leadership development, and public education.

Want to learn more? Come to a Worker Justice Meeting! Meet YWU's fabulous members and staff.  If you are having an issue at work, this is where you can come talk about what is going on.  Many YWU members have been through similar experiences and will give great advice and assistance.

* Worker Justice/Comite de Justicia para Trabajadores    meeting are every other Wednesday Evening at 5:30p. These meetings are conducted bilingually.
